Meet Cooper (Coopy for short)! This gentle boy is about 2 years old. Cooper was rescued out in the country. From the moment this beautiful boy came in, he has been the sweetest. His foster Mom would sit on the floor and he would crawl into her lap for some love, squeaking as he climbed on. His meows are like squeaks. Cooper loves to play with every kind of toy. Bouncy foam balls, wands, cat nip toys, laser toys and the tunnel. He sleeps on his foster parents’ bed almost every night. Not moving until he decides it's time for breakfast. He is a big cuddle bug and purr baby. When his foster Mom holds him, he rubs his face into hers and gives kisses. He loves a comfy lap too. He is always making biscuits. Air biscuits too. Watching the birds and chipmunks is another one of his favourite past times, especially from the tall cat tree with the house on top. He's so comical getting on top of the house and going in and out of the openings. He will likely be great with responsible children. He has never hissed or swatted, even when he was initially rescued and adjusting. He adjusted well to being with his foster parents' own four cats, male and female, although they weren't always happy with him. He would just sit and look at them when they gave him a swat or hiss.
About a month after rescuing Cooper, we brought in his brother Theo. They have become very bonded and we would like to see them adopted together. You can read more about Theo at his profile here.
Now that we have Cooper and Theo together, both boys are very happy to be with each other. They love to play together, sleep together and groom each other. They are best buds now. But still have the occasional crazy play time, chasing each other and wrestling. Boys will be boys!!
Cooper and Theo have been neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites, health-checked by our veterinarians, and microchipped. Both boys tested Negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.
