STATUS: Adopted

Meet Charlie! Charlie is a very gentle 5-year-old long-haired black cat who has a sad story to tell. Charlie was once someone’s pet. When the owner died, he was locked outside. Kind neighbours were feeding him for about 2 years before they reached out for help. We took Charlie in, had him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His foster mom says “Charlie is really a cuddle bug! He just wants to be loved. He is a real sweetheart.” We are looking for a home that will give Charlie lots of love and will ensure he is never out on the street again.

Charlie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FELV. Charlie did test positive for FIV. The adoption fee is $100. If you have room in your heart & your home for Charlie, contact us here or email

For information purposes – FIV is a slow-acting virus, specific to cats, that cannot be passed to people or other species like dogs or bunnies. It is not easily spread. It is only passed through a bite deep enough to inject saliva into the bloodstream of another cat and is commonly found in unneutered males that have to fight for territory. FIV positive cats can live long healthy lives once they are brought indoors. For more information check out –
