I've found my furever family!

eet Ellie! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and is very deserving of a forever home to call her own. Ellie is an affectionate girl who LOVES to give and receive love. She purrs and chirps non-stop. She loves to climb into her foster moms’ laps and settle down for a nice long nap (with some chin scratches thrown in for good measure, of course). She LOVES pets, and will reach out and politely tap her foster moms’ hands if she feels like you're walking away too soon. Ellie will need a little bit of patience at first in order to build trust. She will do best if she is allowed to be the one to initiate pets/snuggles, especially at first. Once that trust is built – she is a definite lap cat! She does not like to be grabbed or forced on to a lap and can swat if she feels threatened. For that reason, she would not be good with young children. Ellie came from a home where she was an unfixed female living with unfixed male cats that likely were very aggressive with her. As a result she does not like other cats and deserves to be the lone feline in her home. She is untried with dogs but would likely do very well with a gentle, cat-savvy dog.
